Saturday Evening: Potluck (Pulled Pork Provided) and Campfire Discussion 6pm-??

                                          Sunday: Intermediate/Advanced Clinic 9am-4pm

Come join us for an entire weekend of horses, guns and friends, no matter your skill level or experience. Saturday's Intro to Mounted Shooting Clinic is designed to give you and your horse the proper start to mounted shooting. We'll go over the basics of the sport, the equipment typically used, and we'll work on gunbreaking your horse using our proven, time tested methods. Typical results are to have our clinic participants shooting off their horses by the end of this clinic, and with a working knowledge of the sport. Don't have a horse or not sure about your current mount? No problem, come and audit (watch and learn) the clinic for only $15! That evening we have a potluck dinner scheduled, with Iron Sixes providing pulled pork, and attendees asked to bring a side dish. Afterward we'd love to share a campfire with participants and spend the evening doing our favorite thing, talking horses and guns! Sunday we'll move into an Intermediate/Advanced clinic that will be primarily composed of pattern management and drills to help you improve your mounted shooting skills. It's important to note that BOTH of these clinics have an intensive horsemanship-based curriculum, with personalized instruction, including bits and bitting, and communication basics between horse and rider. Camping is free, and there will be horse pens available. This is LIMITED QUANTITY event, we will only accept a total of 12 participants in each clinic, and you must place a deposit to hold your spot, and let us know how many horse pens you require for over-nighting. Deposit refunds accepted until September 1st, 2016.
